A.A. Shamara Ilsky Oil Refinery (INPZ) took 2nd place in the regional stage of the All-Russian Competition Russian Management of High Social Efficiency in the nomination For the Reduction of Occupational Injuries and Occupational Morbidity in Industrial Organizations.
The company was represented by Natalia Makarova, the leading occupational safety specialist, under the leadership of Ilona Kharakoz, Director of the Department of Health, Safety and Environment.
The employees are convinced that the investments in industrial safety are an integral part of the company’s development. Due to the developed occupational safety management system and the implementation of a risk-oriented profile, there have been no accidents and incidents at KNGK-INPZ since 2013.
To maintain the results and achieve new ones, it is planned to introduce the concept of zero injuries — Vision Zero, which is an approach to the organization of the occupational safety system at the enterprise to prevent injuries and occupational diseases in order to avoid any accidents at work.
After all, the main capital of the company is people, and the priority task of the management is to create comfortable and safe working conditions for life and health.
The team of Department of Health, Safety and Environment regularly participates in the competitions, takes prizes, and demonstrates their research findings.
