KNGK-Asset Management, KNGK-Group and TASK supported the initiative. So, 22 employees took part in the race dedicated to the Global Running Day. At distances from 1 to 12 km, the runners not only tested themselves for endurance, but also took prizes.
Alina Babak, Head of the Corporate Records Management Department at KNGK-INPZ, took 2nd place in the 2×5 km relay race among the women’s teams.
“I ran for pleasure and to test myself for strength and willpower. Surely, I am glad of what I have achieved and again I am convinced that the best happens unexpectedly!”, Alina Babak shares her impressions.
The employees regularly participate in the city races and introduce their relatives and friends to sports competitions. This year, an unexpected result was shown by a six-year-old Alisa Ulanova, the daughter of Ekaterina Ulanova, Director of the KNGK-INPZ Corporate Development and Support Department. The girl took part in the race for the first time and took 3rd place in the age category ‘up to 6 years’ at a distance of 1.6 km.
“Running is always about self. Check, go beyond, run further, longer or faster. Each runner at this marathon has their own goal and victory, first of all, over themselves”, Ekaterina Ulanova, the initiator of the collective race comments.
