Celebration of the International Children’s Day for the employees of A.A.Shamara Ilsky Oil Refinery and residents of the village of Ilsky was held last weekend on the central square of the village.
The head of the administration of the Ilsky urban settlement of the Seversky district Nikolay Golovko and the chief engineer of A.A.Shamara Ilsky Oil Refinery Valery Manchenko gave a welcoming speech.
“I am glad to welcome you on behalf of the entire staff of the A.A.Shamara Ilsky Oil Refinery at the main holiday of childhood! Summer is the time for vacations, outdoor activities and picnics. Three months of adventure. It is symbolic that this carefree time begins with the celebration of the International Children’s Day! One of the most important tasks for us, adults, is to maintain lightness and carelessness, to give the opportunity to harmoniously grow and develop, dream and realize their potential,” said Valery Manchenko.
There were seven entertainment zones for guests, like seven colors of the rainbow. Each of them had its own special atmosphere. For example, on the yellow zone, Mignon treated guests to popcorn, on the orange zone, the characters from the Three Cats cartoon painted face painting. On the green zone of health and ecology, the Tinker Bell and Flora fairies held master classes on creating handicrafts from improvised materials. There was also a container for collecting raw materials.
Adults and children watched a circus performance of mimes, jugglers and stilt walkers, received prizes, tested their strength and dexterity together with one of the brightest hosts – Superfactory. The holiday ended with a show of soap bubbles and a disco.
In total, almost 300 people attended the event.
