The Ilsky Oil Refinery began to receive equipment for the construction of the gasoline and aromatic hydrocarbons industrial complex (KPAAU). Today the cost of supplies has almost achieved a billion, and for contracted supplies – 27 bln. rubles. KPAAU will produce Euro-5 gasoline and also petrochemical products, which are now imported to the Kuban region from other areas. Key suppliers are domestic manufacturers in accordance with the national policy of import substitution and reducing the dependence of the Russian Federation on western technologies in the strategic industry. Thus, a significant part of the equipment is supplied from Moscow, Ufa, Volgograd, Penza, Kostroma, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg.
For production of gasoline and aromatic hydrocarbons, furnaces for the hydrotreating section of the gasoline fraction have already been received to the complex. These are the first 3 furnaces out of 13 designed in KPAAU. The delivery of heat exchangers, refrigeration equipment, pumping units has already begun.
The modernization program involves technical re-equipment of existing facilities, as well as the construction of new ones. Different equipment is supplied for off-site facilities, for example, bridge cranes for the mechanical repair department gas fire extinguishing systems, tanks for treatment facilities, specialized equipment for railway tracks. Technical director of the Ilsky Oil Refinery Andrey Tagirov notes: “The import substitution program is being successfully implemented at our enterprise. Russian equipment conforms to the declared technical requirements, while logistics routes are much simpler than from abroad. We were convinced of this during the construction of the ELOU AT-6 unit. It was put into operation at the end of 2020 as part of the approved modernization program: nowadays the processing volume has been more than doubled.”
