On October 18, 2022, the opening of the specialized auditorium 1321 n.a. the outstanding Russian scientist Valentin Egorov took place, the repair and re-equipment of which was carried out by A.A. Shamara Ilsky Oil Refinery (INPZ).
The ceremony was attended by Rector of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) Viktor Martynov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KNGK-INPZ LLC Yury Shamara, Managing Director for Production and Modernization of KNGK-INPZ LLC Andrey Tagirov, Director for Long-Term Development of KNGK-Asset Management LLC Vyacheslav Katan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vladimir Koshelev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Alexander Slavinsky, as well as the teachers and students of the University.
Among the honored guests, there were the Chairman of the Public Council, benefactor of the educational institution, oilman Alexander Kochnev, as well as invited graduates — Elina Surkhasheva, Denis Repin, and Yulia Repina.
Honorary member of the Public Council, benefactor of the university, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KNGK-INPZ LLC Yury Shamara welcomed the guests to the new auditorium and noted that the company tried not only to keep the focus on the main profile of the educational institution in design, but also to broadcast the values that underlie the activities of the plant: respect for nature as an indispensable condition for achieving progress.
